The Vikings Golf Clubs regular monthly tournament. Played in three classes for
members and one for guests. Class A and B play stroke game with 100% handicaps
and C class play Stableford game. In guest class 75% handicap system is used to
find determine the best guest player. |

April |
|
April tournament is Viking Golf Club’s most traditional tournament. Called
‘Scanindo’. Sentul Highlands Golf Course has been last years place to tee off
this tournament. All players play with 75% handicaps in one class Stableford
competition and trophy, rotating since 1974, is given to the player, who collect
most points. Nordic Country Championship team is also played in conjunction with
this tournament. Points from best 5 players of each Nordic country is counted
together and winning country team members will get ‘Nordic Country Championship’
trophy. |

In June tournament, players are allowed to carry only three clubs in their bags.
All players play with 75% handicaps in one class Stableford competition.
Tradition for this tournament is Sawangan Kecil 9 hole course. |

During Idul Fitri holidays, Vikings Golf Club arranges two days Outing
tournament. First day competition is more like learning the course and have fun
by playing Texas scramble arranged in teams. Second day competition is played
using regular monthly tournament formula |

The Vikings Golf Clubs monthly tournament. Men play from blue and ladies from
red. This tournament is also first day of the two day’s Vikings Championship
tournament. For championship game, player’s scores are counted without
handicaps. This tournament is normally played on Saturday during last weekend of

Prizes |

In every tournament we give prizes for best technical achievements in Longest
Drive for Men and Ladies. Nearest to Line (combined) and Nearest to Pin
(combined). Other prices is for the best the 3 performances in class A, B and C |

Matchplay series |
|
Two separate Matchplay series; Vikings Matchplay, first half of the year and
Ambassadors Matchplay in second half of the year. |

Interleague |
|
Within all these Viking own tournaments, Viking Team takes part in the Jakarta
Intersociety Matchplay Leaque. This League follows RyderCup formula, where 8
teams, consisting mostly of expatriates from different countries which play 7
round matchplay serie. Each team, 8 players, (2 single and 3 fourball matches)
is played during the season against each other teams. Winning team is rewarded
end of the season with Jakarta Intersociety Matchplay Leaque Championship
trophy. |
